What's new

v1.6 [Mar 5, 2016]
May include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

v1.3 [Oct 26, 2015]
Fight the Chosen in the Amazon Warzone! Join the Accord and the Crimson Storm faction in a huge new continent full of level 40 Chosen battles. Help the war effort by reclaiming bases, protecting convoys, and pushing back the melding.
Discover new creatures that are harassing the citizens of New Eden and take them out in The Big Game Hunt. Explore Coral Forest, Sertao, and Devil’s Tusk and find new challenging named creatures.
Brand new Reputation system. Gone are the extra currencies of the POI vouchers. Gain reputation with each faction to access new equipment and special recipes on each POI vendor.
New looting options are available for squads including Need vs. Greed, Quartermaster (master loot) or specify your battleframe for preferenced looting. Squad leaders set the loot rarity threshold and what system the squad will use.
Range modules have been added for weapons, effectively increasing the weapon’s usable distance, range before damage falloff, and travel speed of lobbed projectiles.
A new optimization feature called Adaptive Effects Quality is now available for use.
This feature allows players to increase their particle effect quality in the video settings and the system will adjust the effects on the fly to maintain higher framerates during heavy firefights.
This feature is enabled by default. If a player wishes to disable this feature they can do so by entering the console and using the command “fx.adaptive_q 0” (without the quotation marks).
Reviving a player now grants assistance rewards for their kills over the next 30 seconds (this helps support players and revivers get rewards in large encounters).
Battleframe Perks
Eye of the Tiger (Unlocked at Tigerclaw, level 30) now affects Triage's recharge rate.
Trickster (seasonal Perk) now briefly cuts off automatic fire to prevent immediately losing stealth when reaching the activation threshold.

v1.2 [Nov 13, 2014]
1. The Accord calls upon its fiercest soldiers, the men and women of the ARES Initiative, to defend humanity against a new round of Chosen attacks. Join a strike team to eliminate Chosen forces from the Miru mining facility. Unite with hundreds of other ARES pilots to defend the Accord Skydock from Chosen sabotage. And team up with fellow ARES teams to fight back against the latest Chosen attempt to destroy New Eden’s watchtowers. The Chosen are getting smarter and more aggressive than ever.
2. The Chosen have taken control of the Miru mining facility in Devil’s Tusk. Intel suggests that the Chosen are digging to reach a titanic creature hidden beneath the facility and plan to unleash it on the Accord. All that stands in their way is a large hive of scorchers that has infested the facility’s mineshafts, and you. The Accord needs veteran squads of ARES pilots to assault the facility and stop the Chosen from reaching the buried titan.
3. The Accord has established Skydock – a large shipping platform critical to resupplying Accord forces fighting in Devil’s Tusk. Seeking to cripple the Accord’s war effort, the Chosen have marked Skydock as a priority target and begun a series of assaults in order to cut the Accord’s supply lines. All available ARES pilots are needed to join the massive battle to defend Skydock and crush the Chosen offensive.
4.The Chosen have changed their tactics for attacking Accord Watchtowers. They have developed a method for generating an isolated Melding sphere that covers the watchtower, preventing Accord forces from entering and allowing the Chosen to easily reinforce their occupation. You’ll need the co-ordinated efforts of multiple ARES pilots to retake the Watchtowers.

v1.1 [Nov 10, 2014]
- a hotfix which will stop the Halloween event waypoints from automatically showing up in the HUD. However, the waypoints will still appear on map and minimap.
